Policy for Donation of Objects to St. Michaels Museum
The St. Michaels Museum and its collection exists because of the generosity of the Community. The gifts from the Community have enriched the Museum and enabled it to document the people, places, and events of St. Michaels in particular and the Bay Hundred area in general. It is important that all gifts of items, objects, and other examples of material culture be properly received by the Museum and fully documented. Therefore, it is the policy of the St. Michaels Museum that gifts that are left at the Museum with no documentation, i.e. anonymously, are not acceptable for addition to the Collection. Please contact the Museum's Curator if you or your family has objects being considered for donation.
